FAQs

1. How does ClearCorrect work?
ClearCorrect uses a series of transparent aligners that gradually move your teeth into the desired position. Each set is worn for about two weeks. Dr. Harter designs a personalized plan using digital imaging to show your projected results before treatment begins.

2. What dental issues can ClearCorrect fix?
ClearCorrect treats crowding, gaps, misalignment, overbite, underbite, open bite, and crossbite. It is a strong alternative to traditional braces for teens and adults who want a discreet option.

3. How long does ClearCorrect treatment take?
Most cases take 6 to 18 months, depending on the amount of tooth movement needed. Consistent aligner wear for 22 hours a day helps ensure predictable results.

4. Can I remove ClearCorrect aligners?
Yes. ClearCorrect aligners are removable for eating, brushing, flossing, and special occasions. This makes them more convenient than traditional braces while still providing effective results.

5. How do I care for my ClearCorrect aligners?
Rinse aligners with cool water, clean them gently with a soft toothbrush, and avoid hot temperatures that can warp the material. Keep aligners in their case when not in use to prevent bacteria buildup and damage.
